Beach and Babies

Cheese Mom!

The girls love the rides and Candace wanted to ride to; she wasn't so sure at first but she did love it after she got started.

Having fun in the water

My weeks have been busy since we have come home from our beach vacation. We took the kids to the amusement park (with holding name because i never like to post anything that eludes to our state or county) but the kids had a blast, we rode the rides from 5:30-8:30 one evening and then went back the next day for the entire day. Everyone was very tired but it was so much fun.

My younger sister had her baby exactly three weeks ago today. She named him Caden. He is adorable and she says he is very pleasent and content, so congratulations guys!!
And my sister-in-law had her little boy one week ago. His name is Seth. He reminds me of when Dylan was born with his perfect little round bald head. Congratulations!!
So the girls like to tell people that they now have four tiny little baby cousins. The twin girls and the two baby boys! It's baby city around here and I'm happy to hold them and then give them back and go home and sleep through the night! LOL!

I tried to upload a video to blogger but after hours of waiting for it to upload I gave up. I don't know if the video was maybe to long or if I was doing something wrong. I will try again.

HOME ONE YEAR TODAY!!!!

Candace has been home for ONE YEAR TODAY!!!! July 18th; What a special day!!

HAPPY ONE YEAR HOME BABY GIRL!!!!!!!!!

We arrived home VERY early in the morning exactly one year ago today with our new precious baby girl! My brother and Kayla picked us up at the airport in Philly (thanks again guys because i know you waited a while due to our plane delays) and Candace was NONE TO HAPPY about being put into a car seat for the very first time in her little nine month old life. She finally went to sleep; due to pure exhaustion I am sure, and she transferred into her crib and slept until late that morning. The first couple of months adjusting to two little babies is all a blur now. I remember waking up two and three times a night with one or both of the babies. Prior to being together Candace and Dylan had both been sleeping through the night. But for Candace there were so many changes and fears that it made sense for her to begin waking up again. For Dylan I believe his little world was rocked because of this other baby that he had to share mommy and daddy with. But today, one year later, I don't believe either one of them remembers a day when they didn't have each other.

So happy one year anniversary home Candace! We love you so much!
Here's looking at you!

Happy 30th Birthday Steve!!!!!!!!!

We had a 30th birthday party for Steve combined with a 50th birthday party for my mom! (Mom kept pointing out that she is actually still 49 for a few more weeks) We wanted to surprise her and we wanted to combine the two parties because we invited a lot of the same people for both birthdays! We had over 150 people here and it was a fun day.

We are off to the beach for a week!

Happy 4th of July!!!
