Fun with Photos!

I have been having so much fun playing with the pictures that I take by uploading them to this program I have. I took all kinds of pictures of the kids yesterday and used some of them for our Christmas card this year. Here are a couple! I could really start liking this!

Don't you just love the red flame coming right out of her head?! LOL!

I particularly love this picture of Brittney. As everyone knows Brittney is a very hyper child and whenever I do her hair for pictures it is ruined by the time we take them. Well, this time I did her hair and then sat her right down and took a bunch of pictures. She smiled so nicely and I love how they turned out! Fun Fun!

Fireplace and other stuff!

We finally have the fireplace 100% completed! So here are a couple pictures of the mess that it was and then a shot of it now:

All decorated for Christmas! Steve did the black marble around the fireplace and on the floor in front of the fireplace, I love it!

We hosted thanksgiving this year for Steve's family. We took pictures of all 18 grandchildren with Grandma and Grandpa while everyone was here. It was quite the funny experience but we did end up getting a couple of good pictures.

And I must post a picture of the doe and the buck which Steve shot this year during New York rifle season a few weeks ago. Alexcis was proud of her daddy but a bit grossed out by the deer!

Dylan loves his cowboy hats, he always runs around in them but won't let me get a picture, but this time i was able to get a couple... of him in front of the fireplace no less!

Have a great week!

Picture Time!

We took the kids for pictures last week. We haven't had a picture of all four kids together in over a year and we decided it was time to brave it again. Dylan really didn't want to cooperate but out of about 20 pictures there was one of all four of them that i liked. We also got them to pose for individual pictures again. I can't wait to get them so i can update my pictures over my fireplace. But we have decided that the next time we want pictures of them all together we need to find someone who will come to the house, maybe someone we know... any ideas anyone???

But here are my cuties from this photo sitting:

first grade picture

Alexcis is in first grade this year. It is hard to believe how big she is getting. I am also surprised at all the stuff she is learning.... did we learn all that in first grade or have the standards gotten tougher?! But she is doing great, i just had my parent/teacher conference and her teacher says she is doing wonderful and her report card looked great! I just got her school pictures and of course i think she is beautiful!

Birthdays!

October was a busy birthday month for my family. My sister had her birthday and Candace and Brittney both had birthdays. Brittney turned 5; a whole hand full now! And Candace is now 2! It is so hard to believe that they are getting so big so quickly! Here are lots of pictures from the girls special days.
Sharing a birthday cake.

We got Candace a princess tent and she loves it.... playing peek-a-boo with daddy!

Brittney got a Hannah Montana dress up outfit and the wig that came with it was to funny. Kayla got a picture of Steve in the wig... check out her Zanga site to see that!

My stove was not working at the time of this party so my mother came through and made the cake! thanks mom!
On the day of Brittney's birthday we took all the kids to chuck-E-cheeses. For the first time Dylan and Candace were actually big enough to enjoy some of the games too.

Brittney got a sand art kit for her birthday and she has made some cute things already.
This is Candace on the morning of her birthday... she is such a happy morning person. (most mornings i can't handle it!)
Candace with her new baby doll.

We are still working on our fireplace (yes, it has been months now) but pictures will come of it finished soon i hope.
The wind is howling and it is pouring as i type this, it's just been a couple of ugly days around here. I hope everyone has a great week!

Wedding

My little brother (who is not very little any more) got married this past sunday. It was a beautiful wedding. Steve was in the wedding and Candace was also in the wedding as a flower girl. she did wonderful at the rehearsal; walking down so nice and smiling but for the actual wedding i think she was a bit unsure of all the people and the church was candle lit (which was beautiful) but darker than the night before and i don't think she saw me up front. the wedding planner walked her about half way down (she kept turning to go back to her so she just walked her down) and then she spotted me and Alexcis and she came the rest of the way to us. It was cute. All three girl sat quietly and watched the wedding. I was shocked. I had my cousin on standby in case Candace started to fuss but she just sat on my lap and played with the flowers in her basket. It was a fun day. With Steve being in the wedding party i kind of felt like i was at the wedding by myself with my girls, but my sisters helped and my mother in law took Dylan during the wedding service and brought him back for the reception so that was a HUGE help... thanks again Karen! Here are only a few of the over 100 pictures i took of the day. If you have a facebook account look me up because I have a lot more pictures on there.Angie, Brandon and boys
