Alexcis Is SIX!!!!!!!!

Alexcis turned six years old on Monday and I still struggle to believe I actually have a SIX year old! It feels like yesterday that I was wrapping her in a cute little pink and purple blanket and bringing her home from the hospital! She wanted to go to the cabin to go fishing for her birthday so off we went! My mom and dad came to and brought Logan along so she felt like she had a full weekend of celebrating her special birthday! The weather was beautiful, we rode 4-wheeler, fished, and had a camp fire. We saw lots of deer and our old friend 'mama bear' was back to see us one evening too. Here are some pictures:

Alexcis has wanted this Princess clock for the last year or more! She was so excited!
Her birthday dinner: Hot dogs and hamburgers!
Playing in the sprinkler she got!

She had another birthday dinner complete with a cake, ice cream and presents last evening with Grandpa and Grandma on daddy's side. She was so excited to have 'two' birthdays! She got a really cool sprinkler and since today is so hot I set it up for the kids. Nathaniel is over playing too so they are having tons of fun! The sprinkler is awesome!
Thanks to everyone for the cool birthday gifts given to Alexcis! She loves them all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET BABY GIRL!!!!!!!

The New Cabin

Dad bought a farm in the mountains with over 100 aces of land. We went to check it out for the first time last weekend. It was the hottest weekend of the year so far and we didn't have air condition!! We did have lots of fans and plenty of shade so it was completely comfortable.
We had a great time. There was lots of room to ride four wheelers and there was a small stream in the back yard for the kids to play in and a pond to fish in. The weekend was full of new experiences for the kids and it was so much fun.

I don't know if you can see Dylan's face but he is saying 'oooohhhh' as he watches the girls play in the stream. For now the babies just watched as the older girls played in the water.
Steve was 'lazy fishing' on the dock!

Chasing butterflies.
I grew up on a farm and I have so many good memories of riding around on the tractor with my dad. My mom tells me I even knew how to drive it. So I'm so happy to see my kids getting to make their own "farming" memories!
Alexcis did figure out how to start the tractor. It won't be long until she knows how to drive it too!!
Lots and lots of 4-wheeler rides. I even gave rides to the kids.
Alexcis' first fish. It ended up being the first of many. She caught over 40 fish during her three days of fishing. She could cast her own rod and everything!

Brittney's first fish... a cute little sun fish.

The kids loved the new cabin. We gave Alexcis her choice of where she wanted to go for her birthday; the beach or the cabin and she choose the cabin. So we will be headed back up real soon! Thanks mom and dad!

Kindergarten Graduation

Alexcis had her kindergarten graduation last week. I cannot believe it has come already!! The school put on the cutest grad ceremony complete with caps, diplomas, songs and special speakers! we were so proud of Alexcis she just sat there like a proper little girl! When they announced the class as "The graduating class of 2020" it truly brought the tears to my eyes and the lump to my throat because I know that I will blink my eyes and be sitting at her high school graduation and hear her class announced in that same way. It will come all to soon and I pray I don't take these years for granted!

"The Greatest Show on Earth"

We took the kids to the circus last weekend. They loved it. We didn't have anyone who could watch the babies so we chanced it and took them along (they were free) Well Candace loved it and did great the entire time. Dylan really was excited about it for the first half and then it got long for him. But the big girls really loved it.

Candace seemed to be the most excited about the horses and puppy dogs!

School is almost over and the summer activities are in full swing! We want to go to the mountains this month and to the beach. We also have two birthdays in the family this month (Steve and Alexcis) so it should be a really busy month! I love summer!
