I had a very full day yesterday! My day started off like normal; I rushed all four little ones out the door by 8am. Brittney's preschool had a special mother's day program so me and both babies went with her to school yesterday. They sang us songs, made us some cute gifts and we played games and had lots of snacks! They also did this cute thing with the kids where the teacher 'interviewed' the kids to see how much they know about their mommy. Here are just a few of the cute answers from Brittney: "How old is your mommy?" Brittney says: 16! (mommy says, Woo-hoo!) "What is her favorite food?" Brittney says: eggs (okay, I do like them; but my favorite, who knows?) "What is her favorite movie?" Brittney says: Mary Ann.... okay, ummm, I have no idea where that might have come from! "What do you like best about your mom?" Brittney says: She makes me food! Okay, that is good for a laugh; but for those of you who know my little skinny minny Brittney that is really funny because, yes, I make her food; but no, she does not eat it!
Anyway, the day was beautiful and the girls disappeared outside after lunch to work on a huge sidewalk chalk picture on the driveway. I mean they just spent hours on this thing! Very cool and to bad the rain completely washed it away during the night. They were disappointed but they are very happy I have pictures to show everyone.
And Dylan was very grumpy all week and particually at the mother's day morning program at preschool. Then he wouldn't nap and I finally said enough is enough and I ran him to the doctor. Appointments never move quickly at my pediatrians office and i was afraid I wouldn't make it home in time to get Alexcis ready for her finally soccor game of the season so THANK YOU, THANK YOU to my wonderful mom who rushed in to help (even though she was really sick) I got back from the doctors office (Dylan has a double ear infection; at least there was a real reason for being so grumpy) and I quickly got things together and made it to Alexcis's game in time to see the second half. She did awesome! She scored four goals (what a way to end the season) and they had a pizza party afterwards! (Really wonderful because of course none of us had dinner!)
Here are some pictures from the day: They are not in order sorry! I guess the pictures wanted to be as scattered as my day:

Logan taking a goal kick! He is really great at defense!

Alexcis and one of her teammates, PJ, waiting to be subbed back in.

Brittney made friends with, Jordin, a little sister of one of the girls on Alexcis's team. The two girls have been such cute little buddies all season.

Brittney and her preschool class singing for the moms.

What a chesser!

The girls used almost a whole bucket of sidewalk chalk! I should have gotten a picture of when they were all done!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!!
