Candace has been home for five months today. We arrived home in the early morning hours of July 18th. She fell asleep on the way home from the airport and went right into her bed and slept until late into the morning. Alexcis and Brittney wanted us to wake her up because they were so excited to meet her. Candace adjusted to our family as if she had been with us since birth. She is doing great. She is generally a happy baby. Walking, laughing and we are just waiting to hear those first words. Here she is watching it start to snow:

And all dressed up so pretty for church and our Christmas dinner!

She is a precious little girl and we are so thankful that the Lord designed for her to a part of our family! Happy five months home Candace!

What a joy Candace is and what a blessing it has been to have her as a part of our extended family!
She is truly a gift from Above!
She is a very special girl. And she has adjusted so easily. She gets a lot of love, so that helps!
And it is almost surprising to hear you say it's been five months because it just seems like she's always been here with us...
Ok, this made me cry. I'm not sure why... maybe because adoption weighs so heavily on my heart.
I'd love to hear your adoption story... how the whole process went for you. Obviously there was a happy ending with a beautiful little girl! :) Thats the best part.
SO love her dress by the way :)
